how should I prepare for a session? what can i expect?
Booking a photographer to take intimate photos of you may be intimidating at first, so I want to make sure you know what to expect. This will be an unforgettable and liberating experience… I promise you that!
OUTFIT
Once we have locked in a date and time, start to think about what you will wear. What makes you feel the sexiest? What lingerie have you always wanted to try on, but never had an excuse to buy? What photo did you see on Instagram that made your jaw drop? Consider these questions when picking out your outfit.
MUSIC
During the shoot, I will play a curated playlist to get us comfortable and in a sexy headspace (dance party highly likely). However, I recommend listening to a mix of your go-to slow jams or powerful girl power bop in the car on your way over. This will help your overall mood and get you fired up to shoot some incredible photos of… YOU!
INSPIRATIONS
If you’ve seen photos that you like on Instagram or elsewhere online, save them to your phone to show me before we get started. This helps me plan how to direct the shoot in a way that you will be pleased with and helps us both with pose inspiration!
TOUCH-UPS
I will have several makeup and hair products for you to help yourself to while shooting, however if you have any personal items like a tan oil or a special blotting brush - bring those with you!
*currently not supplying products for clients as a health risk. Please bring your own products for touch-ups during our session.
EDITING
If you’re worried about tan lines or blemishes - I got you covered! I am able to smooth and even skin in editing after our session. If you have any specifications for what you want to see/not see on the finished product don’t hesitate to reach out and let me know.
THE DAY OF THE SHOOT
When you arrive at the studio we will chat, set up, and get HYPED UP. Meaning we will decide the first outfit, throw on some tunes, and if you’re interested in something to ease any nerves - I will have wine available to you. Why not, right? (*note that the only available wine at the moment will be individual sized/in a can for sanitary reasons.) During the session I will assist with directing, posting and HYPING you up the entire time. At the beginning, we will start with a robe to warm up to the cheeky outfit you brought. This way we don’t jump into the main event and leave room for sexy photos revealing a little more over time. Think of it like foreplay… no one wants to speed up that process! Once we’ve wrapped up, I will let you know when you can expect to see the results. I will also have you sign a contract ahead of time that informs me your comfort level with sharing any photos on social/web/promo material. If you aren’t comfortable at all - no worries! Keep these photos for yourself!
